“From biologically recycled insulation to wood sourced from sustainable forestry, precon houses are built with environmentally friendly materials. Wood, as a renewable raw material, is beneficial for our climate in the long term.
85% of the construction materials used in a precon house are made from wood. This durable material contains no chemicals and, after accounting for emissions from production and logistics, it stores an average of 50 tons of CO₂ per house. This is more than the CO₂ emissions of a car that travels 10,000 km per year over 20 years.
